How To Order Custom Paper Packaging Step by Step
Thank you for your visit to our company website, we can produce high quality custom paper packaging based on your requirement and design.If you’re not familar with custom making your own paper packaging for your own products, here are steps for your reference:
Step 1: Inquiry.
Tell us detailed information regarding your packaging needs, so we get to know what you want. This includes dimensions, preferred materials, design specifications, and any specific branding elements you wish to incorporate. The more detailed your requirements, the better we can tailor the packaging to your exact needs.
If you have packaging design files already, send us and proceed to Step 2. Or else you can tell us information by below procedure:
a. Confirm the type of box you want.
Such as foldable rigid paper box? Round cylinder box? Corrugated shipping box? Magnetic gift box? Lid and base box? Slid drawer box? paper bags .etc.
b. Confirm the box size.
For square-shaped rigid cardboard boxes or paper bags, tell use the internal or external packaging size in length x width x height.
For round shape paper cylindrical box, use the internal or external packaging size in diameter x height
For custom shape box size, you can tell us the box size needed.
Or if you don’t have box size in mind, you can tell us your product size which need packaging, our packaging engineer can help you define the box size.
c. Confirm the paper material for your packaging.
Please tell us if you have specific paper requiremnt, such as nature looked kraft paper, white art paper, fancy specialty paper, good stiffness C1S .etc. And for rigid paper box, tell us the

d. Confirm the printing details.
Please advise: Do you need colorful print design on the box case? Or single color (such as single black) print? And do you need Pantone color print? (Pantone color print looks more solid and unify and many clients choose one Pantone color as brand color)
Do you need print design only outside case; or both box outside case and inside case?
e. Confirm the surface treatment.
It can do one or several together surface handling to decorate your paper packaging.Such as Glossy lamination, Matt lamination, Soft touch lamination, Scratch proof lamination, Spot UV varnish, Emboss / Deboss, Hot foil stamping, Texture grain .etc.

f. Confirm the insert tray to hold your products into the boxes.
You can choose paper pulp tray, paper folding card insert tray, blister tray, EVA foam tray, Sponge foam tray, EPE foam tray, Fabric satin tray.etc, to hold firmly your products into the paper boxes and protect and decorate it.
If you are not sure which type of insert best for your products, please discuss with our salesman. Our salesman can discuss with engineer team and find the best solution for you.
g. Confirm the order quantity.
Order quantity plays import role on the packaging unit price. Always the larger order quantity, the cheaper unit price.
As there has production fix cost, when quantity less than 500pcs or 1000pcs, the total production cost almost same. So we always tell our clients the MOQ be about 500pcs.
Step 2. Offer.
We define the paper packaging details based on information you provided and calculate best price for you. Due to advanced production equipment and proper manage system, our price always lower 10%~20% than industry average.
Step 3. Sampling.
Based on your packaging details, our packaging engineer can draw you box or bag template / dieline. Then you can tell your packaging designer put printing design on the template, to create packaging design.
For industry production, it needs your printing design files best in vector format, in such as AI, pdf. When your design files is in bitmap format, such as in picture or in photoshop, the resolution should not less than 300 dpi.
With your printing design, we can make custom colored packaging box sample for your reference. There are two types of colored paper packaging sample:
A. Epson digital print sample. It’s print by Epson printer, economic and fast. Usually takes about 4~5 days to make digital print sample. The color of digital print sample shows about 70% color validity.
B. Offset print sample.It’s print by offset printer / big print machine (same as bulk print), color shows over 95% color validity. Offset print sample can show the same color as bulk goods color. But it takes longer time and higher sample cost as need go print by big machine.
Step 4. Check and approve sample.
We will air-ship you the custom paper box sample/prototype for approval once the box sample is ready. You can check the packaging box size, box structure/shape, packaging box material, printing content .etc. You can tell us if need to make improvements and the best mark on the box sample. Take photos or videos and send them back to us, so we clearly know how to make improvements on the sample. We can remake another sample box for your check if necessary.
When your schedule is tight, we can take photos/videos of the box sample/prototype with rulers on, and send them you to for approval online. This way can save 4~7 days sample air shipping time.
Step 5. Place order.
After price confirmed and sample approved, you can place an offical Purchase Order to us. It’s ok if no offical Purchase order but you can write a order confirmation in email to us. So we can clearly make sure you place order to us.
Step 6. Paying Deposit
Our sales will send you a deposit Proforma Invoice when you place the order. On the Proforma Invoice, we will list clearly the paper packaging information you need, such as packaging box size, material, printing, quantity, unit price, total price .etc. You can pay the deposit to the bank account on the bottom of the PI.
Step 7. Mass Production.
After you pay the deposit, the rest is our job. We will arrange the mass production once received your deposit.
By the production lead time, it depends on the paper packaging type and order quantity, usually takes about 10~25 days. If you have urgent schedule request, please tell our sales, and we will find solution if can give your order production priority.
Step 8. Balance.
When finish production and paper packaging goods get ready, we can take photos & videos of bulk goods to you to check. Or you can arrange your QC team or thirty party QC come to quality checking. And then you can pay the balance.
Step 9. Delivery.
We have long-term shipping agent partners to arrange shipping. Through extensive cooperation, we can obtain very nice transportation prices. We can help you arrange FOB, CIF, or door-to-door shipping. Through calculations, we can advise you on the optimal transportation way.
If you have your own shipping company partner, we can work together with them and let you receive the goods smoothly.
Step 10. After Service & Long Cooperation.
After the goods are shipped, we can continue to serve you. For example, tracking logistics, guiding the use of paper packaging boxes, carton quality satisfaction, etc. Our goal is to strive to satisfy you, earn your trust, and establish a long-term cooperative relationship with you.
